How your funds will be spent on future projects:

– 10% goes to support Umbrella, who support local projects and events that develop streets as vibrant, safe, and welcoming public spaces that serve communities.  They help projects like ours by providing insurance, money-keeping, and non-profit 501(c)(3) status.

– The rest goes to build our capacity for future projects including: funding necessary permits; obtaining building materials and place-making supplies; and making, buying, or renting traffic control devices.

– Where at all possible, we partner with local organizations to reduce costs and reuse materials.
